Spring is a good season to grow vegetable in FFS-HEPA. In order to gain well from this season, farm managers, staff and workers have grown trees (fruit trees, coffee, forest trees), various kinds of vegetables (cabbages, egg plants, amaranths, spice vegetables), and grew and took care of food crops (peanut, sweet potato, taro). FFS-HEPA is a fieldwork area under SPERI, located on up-stream of Ngan Pho River. FFS-HEPA always follows and applies the teaching of Uncle Hồ and the SPERI philosophy: “Spring is Tet of planting trees, making HEPA more and more verdant”. On 6th to 8th Tet holiday and later on, the entire HEPA staff, students, and volunteers participated in planting trees.
